About Us

We’re a small woman-owned business based in Memphis, Tennessee, where we craft  natural handmade skincare products.  We do not outsource our work and do everything in small batches, by hand. We have held firm to the belief that to make the best products, you need to use the best ingredients.

We know firsthand how store-bought soap, bath and other skincare  products contain harsh ingredients irritate and dry the skin,that is why our hand-crafted products contain natural (fruit or vegetable extracts)  flowers and essential oils (plant extracts) ingredients that cleans and moisturizes for healthy looking  the skin. We believe in natural skincare for your entire family which is why our handmade soaps, face,body and bath product are created with care and love.

Our products do not contain animal fat or lard and we do not test our products on animals.

Many people are returning to natural skincare products for several reasons. For some, there are sensitivities or allergies to chemicals used in store-bought body wash products. Because there is an increasing interest in the fact that natural products, we offer natural skincare products for men, women, children and even your little furry friends.

Changes/Cancellations

If you need to change your order after it has been placed, please email us immediately. We try to ship out within 1-2 days of ordering, so if you need to make any changes, we can only accommodate you if your order hasn’t shipped yet.

Returns/Complaints

We do not except exchanges on open packages.  If you ordered a products accidently, email us immediately, we can correct it before we ship your order.  If your order has been shipped email us for instructions on how to return the incorrect item ordered.  We do not accept returns when you are unhappy with  choice you made.  Please note that we cannot guarantee that your soap will be exactly as picture on the site,  The beauty of  creating soap is that each slice has its own character but of course the fragrance and experience will be the same. .

All requests for returns will be refunded via online Store Credit only. Your online Store Credit Voucher is valid for 30 days and can be used for your next purchase online. It is strictly non refundable, non extendable, non exchangeable for cash and non exchangeable for the Bela Bojee Handmade Soap Shed vouchers. The online Store Credit Voucher is applicable online only and cannot be used for in-store sales.  Sales item(s) are non-exchangeable nor returnable either in our retail boutique or via our online portal.

1. VALIDITY FOR EXCHANGES & RETURNS

All exchanges and returns would need to be raised within 10 days of the invoice date for North American orders, and 20 days for overseas orders. For local deliveries, there is an option to exchange at any of our boutiques within North American or through our online portal at belabojee-handmadesoaps.com. All requests for returns however, would need to be strictly made online at belabojee-handmadesoaps.com for both local and overseas deliveries.

2. EXCHANGES AT THE  BBHS SOAP SHED

2.1 You will need to bring along your original invoice together with the item(s) in its original condition and packaging to the BBHS Shed.
2.2 You will be entitled to an exchange of any item(s) in the BBHS Shed immediately after evaluation by our retail associates that it is valid.
2.3 If the value of the exchange item(s) is higher than the original item(s), you will be required to pay the difference.
2.4 There will be no refund if the value of the exchange item(s) is lower than the original item(s).
2.5 No other forms of exchanges (such as online cash vouchers or online store credit) will be given at the BBHS Shed.

3. EXCHANGES & RETURNS ONLINE

3.1 You will need to include your original invoice together with the item(s) in its original condition and packaging.
3.2 Kindly print and fill up the Exchange/Return Request Form here and follow the steps indicated in the form for your exchange.
3.3 Mail us your parcel via a traceable mode of postage.
3.4 Wait for our email confirmation and you will be notified once your online Store Credit Voucher is ready. Generally, the processing period is 5 working days upon receipt of your parcel.
3.5 All requests for returns will be refunded via online Store Credit Vouchers only. Your online Store Credit Voucher is valid for 30 days and can be used for your next purchase online. It is strictly non refundable, non extendable, non exchangeable for cash and non exchangeable for in-store vouchers. The online Store Credit Voucher is applicable online only and cannot be used in our Retail locations.
3.6 Online Store Credit Vouchers are to be used in a singular transaction and any excess amount not utilized, would not be refunded.
3.7 Online Store Credit Vouchers given will be at the buying price of the product as stated in the original invoice. No refunds will be given for delivery charges incurred in the original, returned and onward shipping charges of exchanged items.
3.8 However, if any of the products received is deemed defective or a wrong shipment belabojee- handmadesoaps.com will bear the cost of shipping the item(s) back to you. Please note that all exchanges are subjected to stock availability and whilst we endeavor to ship a replacement item(s) back to you, we reserve the right to do an exchange by way of an item(s) of a similar value or providing online store credits or any other methods at the discretion of belabojee-handmadesoaps.com
3.9 No refunds will be given for taxes, duties, tariffs and excise charges levied for overseas orders either for refunds or exchanged items.

Exchange and Refund Policy (Local Shop Only)

New, unused full-price merchandise purchased at store retail store may be exchange at any boutique with an original receipt within 7 days of purchase. After 7 days, the merchandise may not be exchanged.
We offer a no-refund policy on all merchandises, however, for merchandise qualifying for an exchange, item may be exchange for online credits which may be used at  the Bela Bojee Handmade Soaps Online or in-studio purchase only (Please read the COVID-19 information on the homepage)
Merchandise on sale may not be exchanged or returned. All merchandise must be returned in sellable condition, otherwise, an exchange would not be allowed.
We reserve the right to reject any form of exchange without the original receipt.
